**Role description**:

- Undertake a development role, contributing to client work, developing technical BIM related skills
- Have a familiarity with a BIM software package and is learning to deliver models as required
- Developing an appreciation of BIM processes and typically can use 1 software modelling package

**Role accountabilities**:

- Take responsibility for own safety and understand Arcadis Health and Safety Principles
- Develop awareness of the contribution of the wide project community in the successful delivery of projects
- Develop awareness of the business benefits derived from Global Design
- Support the production of project BIM deliverables including drawings that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with Arcadis drafting standards, best practice and any other standards dictated by the nature of the project
- Become familiar with Arcadis drafting standards and national drafting standards including Arcadis BIM protocols
- Deliver work that meet client and Arcadis requirements
- Work under close supervision with explanations of task delivery on a piecemeal basis
- Liaise with the BIM Coordinator and other members of the project team to ensure that all requirements are understood
- Contribute to BIM deliverables under the close supervision of an BIM Coordinator
- Build an understanding of the use of individual models used to define elements of a project
- Advance their BIM software skills within their role
- Support electronic document management including drawing registers and document issuing (including online collaboration sites)
- Check own work ahead of production checking
- Successfully complete assigned BIM modelling work within allotted time frames
- Sign up to training plan for professional development
- Must develop technician skills
- Commit to receiving on the job technical training by performing tasks, which are under the direct supervision of more experienced staff within well defined limits
- Attend knowledge network to support Arcadis knowledge sharing
- Support internal CPD
- Work with a Mentor to develop technical excellence at the start of a structured training programme
- Execute modelling
- Make 3D visualizations, derived 2D drafts
- Make drafts, calculations and analyses that will be transferred to the building model

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Typically joined from school and is gaining some relevant BIM experience
