**About UMEED**

UMEED aims to empower women socially and economically and has been working **with women from low-income communities in Hyderabad** since 2014. In our **10+ years of work with women** at the ground level, we have developed a deep understanding and carved out many livelihood interventions that are sustainable for women. Presently we are running four programs **FirstLeap, Karigari, Shakti, and Sahyog.** By means of our 3-bucket focus on skill building, mindset development and access to exposure, we aim to build the spirit of ‘Voice, Choice and Agency’ in women who will not only be empowered to take charge of their own lives, but will also become proactive catalysts of a sustainable continuation of these values to their communities.

**About the Role**

Operations Associate is a strong flagbearer of gender equality who enjoys being captain of the ship. You will set project objectives, guide people working on the project, performs risk assessments, recruits team, and keep track of progress.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and implement all stages of all program projects.
- Develop detailed monthly, quarterly, yearly project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Create end of project reports for internal and external purposes.
- Liaise with external stakeholders for all program partnerships.
- Establish and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Motivate and supervise team members while ensuring their availability and allocation.
- Assist in hiring and recruitment of the organisation team.

**You’ll be a good fit if you**
- Have knowledge and are passionate about gender inequality and its impact on Indian communities.
- Have strong project and people management skills.
- Have prior experience working in social sector/up-skilling programs, especially with women beneficiaries.
- Have Bachelor’s or Master's (in Social Work/ Mgmt/ Development/ Gender Studies) desirable not essential.
- Enjoy problem solving, decision making and can operate with mínimal guidance
- Can multi-task and keep things organized in a dynamic setup.
- Have excellent writing and presentation skills.
- At-least 1 year of experience in leading teams and project.
