Officer Procurement and Logistics

Coordination with Truck Union for placement of trucks for permits execution.
- Leading the transportation team responsible for planning & execution of domestics distribution.
- Liaison with Excise at Rewari on day to day basis and HO Panchkula periodically for liaison renewal, label renewal, drawing/expansion approval etc.
- Preparing and circulating dispatch related MIS - reports to the higher management on daily/Monthly basis.
- Planning for dispatch and arranging the trucks for timely execution of permits.
- Coordination with labour contractor/loading labors and forklift operators for smooth production and dispatches.
- Make and maintain invoice on SAP as an End-User.
- Maintain and Execute the proper records of FMS report related to the outbound Logistics.
- Tracking of consignment and settlement of in - transit issues like accidents, transshipment and other issues in coordination with other concerned departments.
- Handling transportation and verification that our products reach at our Depots at the right time and the right quantity.
- Co-ordination with sales and planning in advance for any changes in plan.
- Handled the responsibilities of receiving goods, processing documentation, storing deliveries at warehouse, tracking as well as distributing materials.
- Ensuring distribution is seamless and as per requirement of sales.
- Assigned the tasks of maintaining proper record of inventory of items in warehouse and order as required on SAP.
- Benchmarking of lead time for different depots and distributors across India for all possible metrics for source and destinations.
- Overseeing Supply chain for distribution FG in warehouse to the manufacturing unit for achievement of targets in specified parameters with requirements.
- Monitoring and analyzing the loss in transit and undertaking measures to control the same.
- Overseeing logistics functions and negotiating with transporters for cost effective transport solutions and clearance. Planning of trucks for dispatch of Beer by road on day to day basis.
- Planning for storage of FG inventory utilizing warehouse space.
- Preparation of SOP for storage and transport related processes.
- Participating in cross - functional Audits.
- Cope with emergencies such as accidents at work place, meeting month
- end deadlines and to cater to any other additional responsibilities given.
- Inventory control with FIFO system
- Working with ESCIMS software of TCS for Delhi/UP Excise.
- Any other duty assigned by Operation Manager.
- Participate in TPM activities like - Kaizen, OPL, 5-S e.t.c.
- Participate in improvement initiatives of the organization
- Working with the software of SAP.
