**MIG Welder (2G to 4G Certified)**

**Contract Duration **:1 year (It may extend too depends on work)

**Location**: Kattupali, Chennai

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions as per technical specifications and welding standards.
- Weld Inspection: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet project specifications, quality standards, and are free from defects.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine proper weld placement and requirements.
- Material Preparation: Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, or grinding to ensure surfaces are ready for welding.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure weld quality meets production specifications and quality standards, with attention to maintaining consistent weld integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, weld inspectors, and engineers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in MIG welding, including 2G, 3G, and 4G welds.
- Certification: Must have certification in MIG welding for 2G to 4G positions, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and weld symbols.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various positions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail in weld quality.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to following all safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with a variety of metals and alloys, such as steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
- Familiarity with additional welding techniques (TIG, Stick, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience in working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

**Work Environment**:

- The position may require working in a manufacturing facility with varying temperatures.
- Must be comfortable with standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
