We are currently seeking a red hat openshift architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

What you will do:

- Serve as the technical point of contact and on-site delivery expert for customer solutions based on Red Hat technologies
- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of OpenShift/Container Platform
- Install, maintain, and configure production and non-production OpenShift environments.
- Perform patching, software implementations, and upgrades to Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
- Support the delivery of automated Infrastructure
- Work closely with other teams across the business to improve efficiency
- Fault diagnosis including problem statements and mitigation planning
- Provide input and design review to ensure best practice implementation of container platforms and automation toolchains

What you will bring:

- Implementation and deployment experience on enterprise PaaS solutions based on Red Hat OpenShift V3 & V4 on variety of IaaS platforms like, OpenStack, VMware, Public Cloud etc.
- Migration experience to the OpenStack/OpenShift platform from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and/or VMware
- Strong experience in OCP (OpenShift), Red Hat, Virtualization (KVM), VMware etc.
- A good understanding and experience of how Ansible (or a similar technology) can be used to provide a high level of Automation
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with complex/large enterprise in a customer-facing positions as a technology engineer
- Excellent knowledge on Linux specifically RHEL 7.x and 8.x
- Strong experience in OCP (OpenShift) ecosystem tools implementation such as logging monitoring, alert etc,
- Good hands-on understanding on Virtualization, Container native storage, OpenStack etc.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, SDN, cluster & resource management and Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM cloud platforms),
- Security implementation on Kubernetes as per best practices
- Good knowledge / experience on Container native storage such as Ceph/Gluster/OCS etc.
- Good exposure to DevOps principles, CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools stack
- Ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into proposals, presentations, standard demos, and customer workshops
- Ability to coordinate resources and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Team-oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic with the willingness to take initiative and maintain a positive approach
- Ability to work with a virtual team
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Solid understanding of enterprise operational processes, planning, and operations
- Red Hat certification is especially desirable
