**Key Responsibilities you will have**:

- **Establish and Maintain Relationships**: Build and sustain positive relationships with relevant government departments, local authorities, and educational institutions to advocate for the NGO’s English literacy initiatives.
- **Facilitate Approvals and Permissions**: Work closely with government entities to secure necessary approvals, permissions, and clearances for our projects, training sessions, events, and field visits.
- **Proposal and Grant Support**: Assist in preparing government-specific proposals, funding requests from different stakeholders, ensuring alignment with government priorities and compliance with regulations.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to government authorities on time.
- **Data Collection and Reporting**: Gather data and feedback from government programs and compile reports to demonstrate impact and advocate for continued or increased government support.
- **Networking**: Attend relevant government forums, conferences, and events to increase the NGO’s visibility and stay updated on policy changes related to education and literacy.

**Key skills we are looking for**:

- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with government officials and preparing documentation.
- **Negotiation and Persuasion**: Strong negotiation skills to build trust with government stakeholders and advocate for our goals effectively.
- **Project Management**: Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain timelines, and coordinate between the LFW and government bodies.
- **Research and Analytical Skills**: Skill in conducting policy research, understanding legal and regulatory requirements, and preparing data-driven reports would be a plus.
- **Adaptability and Problem-Solving**: Ability to respond to changes in government policies and handle challenges related to bureaucratic processes efficiently.
- **Networking and Relationship-Building**: Proven skills in building and maintaining a network of government contacts across various levels and departments.
- **Attention to Detail**: Precision in preparing reports, compliance documentation, and understanding regulatory guidelines to avoid missteps.

**Remuneration based on skill set, prior experience, and value addition. The salary would be decided upon as per the sector standards.**
