**Key Responsibilities**:
**Fleet Management**:

- Oversee the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are maintained, serviced, and in good condition.
- Coordinate and monitor vehicle allocation, usage, and ensure that vehicles are available for operational needs.
- Manage and schedule repairs and preventive maintenance of vehicles.

**Routing & Scheduling**:

- Plan, schedule, and optimize routes for transportation, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor transport schedules and adjust in case of delays, weather conditions, or unforeseen events.
- Coordinate with drivers and customers regarding delivery times and changes.

**Driver Supervision**:

- Manage and supervise drivers, including assigning routes, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to drivers on safe driving practices, road safety regulations, and efficient vehicle operation.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals of drivers and address any disciplinary issues.

**Inventory and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, route plans, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all necessary documentation such as delivery notes, manifests, and vehicle inspection reports are properly maintained.
- Handle any discrepancies in deliveries and liaise with customers to resolve issues.

**Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure that all transport operations comply with local, state, and national transportation regulations, including road safety and environmental laws.
- Implement and enforce safety measures and standards, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring drivers are trained in safety protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in transportation laws, insurance requirements, and environmental policies.

**Budget and Cost Control**:

- Prepare and manage the transport budget, ensuring cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Monitor fuel consumption, repair costs, and vehicle depreciation to keep operational costs within budget.
- Implement strategies to reduce transportation costs through route optimization and vehicle efficiency.

**Customer Service and Coordination**:

- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless transportation of goods and services.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues related to transport or delivery delays.
- Communicate transport schedules, delivery expectations, and any changes to stakeholders.

**Reporting**:

- Prepare and submit regular reports on transportation performance, vehicle status, and fleet costs to senior management.
- Analyze transport data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance efficiency.

**Vendor and Supplier Management**:

- Liaise with external transport vendors for outsourcing transportation services, ensuring contracts and agreements meet the company’s requirements.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and service levels with external transport suppliers.

**Educations & Experience**
- 3 to 5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet management roles.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Rotational shift

Work Location: In person
