Job description

**Key Responsibilities / Functions**:

- **Modify 3D models and drawings** pertaining to Trailers in NX CAD Software
- Perform through quality checks on accuracy/ placement of dimensions, assure proper use of datums, Geometric Dimensional and tolerances (GD&T), perform interference/clearance checks based on design intent and manufacturing process requirements and make suggestions.
- Responsible for completeness and accuracy of the information with respect to dimensions, material, process standards, engineering specifications and the engineering design guidelines.

**Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)**
- Experience in CAD modelling and creating engineering drawings pertaining to **Heavy Structures** (Trailers, Commercial Vehicles, Earthmoving equipment, Construction equipment, Oil & Gas, Marine, Defense)
- Proficiency in **CAD software NX**:

- **Strong communication skills** and the ability to convey technical information clearly
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Well versed in **GD&T and Weld Symbols**:

- Knowledge of Standards & Convention related to Engineering drawings
- Strong technical knowledge of **sheet metal design, manufacturing methods and weldment** as well as general engineering and physics concepts
- Experience in BOM and Change management through ECR/ECN
- Evaluate drawings for possible manufacturing and assembly problems and suggest improvements
- Exposure to fabrication and production floor environment
- Exposure/experience in working with global engineering team (Preferably with US teams)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience Tolerance stack up analysis, DFM and DFA

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
