Job Description for Safety Officer Profile

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our fabrication industry team, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety consciousness among employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with industry regulations and company standards.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Regularly inspect equipment, machinery, and work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with management to establish emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Provide safety training to employees, emphasizing the importance of following safety protocols and using protective equipment.
- Keep abreast of industry safety trends, regulations, and best practices, and update policies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including incidents, inspections, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities during safety audits and inspections.

Education Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of local and national safety regulations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address potential safety risks.
- Certification in occupational health and safety will be an added advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,218.54 - ₹35,524.14 per month
