**Job Summary**
As a member of the front office team at **Hotel GSR, Tumkur**, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive and memorable experience from check-in to check-out. Your role will involve a range of responsibilities including guest interactions, administrative tasks, and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Guest Services & Check-in/Check-out**
- Welcome guests warmly and provide prompt assistance.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
**Reservations & Front Desk Operations**
- Maintain guest records and update reservation details.
- Process payments, invoices, and billing transactions.
**Concierge & Customer Assistance**
- Provide guests with local information (transportation, restaurants, attractions).
- Arrange for taxis, tours, and other guest services as required.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
**Coordination & Administration**
- Communicate with housekeeping for room readiness and special requests.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Maintain front desk reports, logs, and necessary documentation.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality (optional).
- Previous experience in front office or customer service roles in hotels.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, IDS, or similar).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multitasking and work under pressure.
- Fluent in Kannada, English, Hindi.
