Experience : Min 3 years of experience as a Postgresql Database Admin

Location : Bangalore

Notice : Immediate to 15 Days

Salary : Up to 6.5 LPA

Skills : Postgresql and MongoDB

**Key Responsibilities**:
**MongoDB**:

- Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB clusters (standalone, replica sets, and sharded).
- Monitor database performance, replication, and backups.
- Implement MongoDB security best practices (authentication, authorization, role-based access).
- Perform upgrades and patches.
- Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, locking, and slow queries.
- Manage MongoDB Ops Manager / Compass / Atlas if applicable.

**PostgreSQL**:

- Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases
- Perform database tuning and optimization (indexes, queries, VACUUM, ANALYZE).
- Set up and monitor replication (streaming replication or logical replication).
- Handle backup and recovery using pg_basebackup, pgBackRest.
- Implement security best practices, including role management and SSL.
- Conduct regular health checks and audits.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a DBA with both MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Python, or Bash).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, PMM, Nagios, or Zabbix.
- Hands-on experience with backup/restore, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Pay: Up to ₹650,000.00 per year
