Planning & Analysis- Associate

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Job Responsibilities- Manage annual and continual financial planning activities for product areas, providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting, and conduct reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reports.- Report on efficiency, analytics, and strategy, including but not limited to location strategy, span of control, reporting, and analytics.- Create financial business cases to support business initiatives.- Monitor and report on key metrics, drive data quality initiatives across the product area, and help define future needs of the product area.- Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.- Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and present commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets.- Design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management.- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 2 years finance and/or accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance is required
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across a highly matrixed cross functional organization
- Ability to communicate to leadership in a concise and effective manner both verbally and written
- Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication while maintaining a positive attitude and high level of performance on time-sensitive initiatives
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Knowledge of SQL and Alteryx is a plus
