We are seeking qualified and dynamic Visiting Faculty members to join the BCA and MCA Departments at **Tecnia Insitute of Advance Studies ** to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in alignment with the academic curriculum as prescribed by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The Visiting Faculty will contribute to the delivery of high-quality education, foster an engaging learning environment, and guide students toward academic and professional excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Teaching & Instruction**:
- Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials for BCA/MCA courses as per the prescribed syllabus of GGSIPU.
- Prepare and organize instructional materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and projects.
- Develop, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, mid-term exams, and final assessments.
- Ensure that teaching materials are up-to-date and relevant to industry standards.
- **Student Mentoring & Support**:
- Engage with students to address their academic queries and concerns.
- Provide constructive feedback on assignments and exams.
- Offer career guidance and mentorship for students interested in pursuing further studies or entering the industry.
- **Academic & Administrative Duties**:
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum review sessions, and academic workshops.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance and academic performance.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Assist in the preparation of academic reports and other documentation as required by the department and university.
- **Research & Development (Optional)**:
- Contribute to research and development in relevant areas of computer science and technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research projects or support students in their research activities.
- **Compliance with GGSIPU Guidelines**:
- Adhere to the academic policies, rules, and regulations set forth by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
- Participate in university-organized training programs, workshops, and conferences as required.
**Qualifications**:
- **Educational Qualifications**:
- **For BCA**: Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent in relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university.
- **For MCA**: M.Tech in Computer Science/IT or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university.
- **Experience**:
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized educational institution, preferably in the field of computer science or related disciplines.
- Industry experience in IT/Software development, networking, or related areas is an advantage.
- **Desirable Skills**:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of software development, database systems, web technologies, and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods, including online tools and educational platforms.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Pay: ₹29,637.36 - ₹120,056.26 per month
