Execute fixed income trades in alignment with the fund's investment strategy and guidelines. Monitor and analyse market trends, economic data, and interest rate movements to make informed trading decisions. Execute trades across a variety of fixed income securities, such as government bonds, corporate bonds, CP/CDs and other fixed income instruments. Assess and manage the potential risks associated with fixed income trading, including interest rate risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and market volatility. Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to formulate and implement fixed income investment strategies. Review and adjust portfolio allocations based on market conditions, interest rate changes, and credit quality assessments. Assess and manage the potential risks associated with fixed income trading, including interest rate risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and market volatility. Maintain a deep understanding of the fund's portfolio composition and risk exposure. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging fixed income market developments. Adhere to industry regulations, best practices, and internal compliance policies when executing trades and managing portfolios. Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements that may impact fixed income trading and portfolio management activities. Conduct thorough research on fixed income securities, market demand supply, liquidity and other macroeconomic and technical factors affecting the fixed income markets. Analyze market data and trends to identify potential investment opportunities and risks. Provide recommendations to portfolio managers on potential trades and portfolio adjustments. Build and maintain relationships with brokers, dealers, and other market participants to facilitate trade execution.Negotiate terms and pricing for trades while ensuring best execution practices. Maintain accurate trade records, transaction logs, and performance reports. Generate regular reports for portfolio managers, senior management, and regulatory compliance purposes. Ensure adherence to reporting requirements set by regulatory bodies. Relevant work experience as a fixed income dealer, ideally within asset management firm, banks, primary dealers, insurances, or other financial institutions. Strong understanding of fixed income markets, financial instruments, and trading strategies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends. Should have hands on working knowledge of dealing systems like Treps, NDS-OM, C-BRICS, RFQ and others
