Sanitation and Housekeeping Supervisor

Supervise and lead the housekeeping and sanitation team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.

Plan and coordinate daily cleaning schedules for classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other school areas, ensuring they are cleaned thoroughly and on time.

Conduct regular inspections of all school facilities to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to sanitation protocols.

Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and sanitation materials, and place orders for replenishment as needed.

Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices are followed in compliance with environmental regulations.

Implement and enforce sanitation practices that meet health and safety standards to safeguard the health of students, staff, and visitors.

Train housekeeping and sanitation staff on appropriate cleaning techniques, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and adherence to safety protocols.

Handle and resolve housekeeping and sanitation-related issues or complaints in a timely and efficient manner.

Collaborate with other school departments to coordinate cleaning activities during events or special occasions.

Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for specialized cleaning tasks, such as deep cleaning, window washing, and floor maintenance.

Promote eco-friendly cleaning practices and encourage waste reduction and recycling initiatives within the school community.

Conduct regular performance evaluations of housekeeping and sanitation staff, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback for professional development.

Assist in the recruitment and selection process of new housekeeping and sanitation team members.

Stay updated with industry best practices, sanitation standards, and advancements in cleaning and sanitation technologies.
