About the Role

The SME will be part of the CIS organization that provides managed services & system integration projects to its customers. This role will include understanding customer requirements, proactively work with sales team, manage large RFP and create solutions for its customers. This role will require to provide leadership and technical oversight for the design, implementation and management of all solutions in the area of Network & Security technologies that will include routing & switching, in public and private clouds.
- Define a solution using architectural design principles based on requirements.
- Implement and provide implementation guidance based on best practices to the team throughout the life cycle of the project.
- A motivated, self-driven individual, focused on business development, consulting architect around cloud-based solutions and services
- Should be an experienced “solution-oriented” consultant with good sales acumen with IT solutions design/development background.
- Prior presales and implementation experience in a Networking and Security areas

Your Team

This role will report into Horizontal Practice Head CIS and will be an individual contributor with shadow team from delivery

What You Will Do
- Understand customer requirements and provide technical solution which would be in the form of presentation or a word document
- To engage in customer discussions along with sales, convince about our CIS capabilities, give roadmap and address their pain points.
- Need good understanding of Routing, Switching, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, etc. Should have a mind to sell, generate new business, write technical proposals, presentation skills, willing to travel and meet new customers, work with partners to enable solutions that we lack.
- Work closely with OEMs like Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, SD WAN vendors etc and create solution, BOM, pricing etc

What You Need
- 12 to 15 plus years’ experience in network and security tower
- Ability to do assessments, consulting work, provide reports and convert it into long term deal
- Should have handled large bids, finance knowledge - rate cards, costing and proposals. Effort calculation for different support activities should be known
- The person requires in depth knowledge CIS network offerings, should have done delivery, transition and transformation projects
- Ability to create presentation and write technical documents - Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to network with OEM’s and resellers, understand the solutions being offered, price negotiation
- Should have worked with analysts, should be a self starter, work with minimum guidance, met business targets
- Technical hands on knowledge on most of the network products and tools that will be used in solution
- Ability to create a POC environment and do demo to customer
- Ability to architect and deploy network solutions
- Ability to identify and define technical requirements for customers.
- Ability to identify which product is suited best for customer

What is Nice to Have
- Professional technical certifications in Network and Security towers
- Project management
- Worked as a technical architect on different networking products

What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 30%, domestic only OR domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office in Bangalore, Pune or Delhi
- Expert in NXOS/IOS L2, VLANs and PVLANs, Spanning-Tree Protocols and Port-Channels
- Expert in NXOS/IOS VRF, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols
- Expert in NXOS/IOS High Availability Features such as VPC, double sided VPC, and HSRP
- Hands on experience in NXOS/IOS QOS
- Hands on experience in Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco IPS, Cisco ACS, and PKI
- Hands on experience with Check Point firewalls (SPLAT) and Check Point clustering required or similar
- Extensive knowledge in IKE v1/V2, IPSEC S2S VPN, remote access VPN (IPSEC, SSL client and clientless VPN)
- Experience with the design, provisioning and troubleshooting of WAN and LAN connectivity technologies
- Experience in Vulnerability, assessment and remediation
- Knowledge in Cisco wireless controllers and access points, F5 Load Balancer, traffic shapers
- Experience with the design, provisioning and troubleshooting of WAN and LAN connectivity technologies

Experience in setting up monitoring solution for networks
