Welder/fitter

Install and assemble new machinery and equipment used in the têxtile wet processing operations.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines are running at optimal levels.
- Inspect and troubleshoot machines, tools, and mechanical systems for defects or malfunctions.
- Ensure proper functioning of machinery and mechanical systems related to fabric processing.
- Diagnose issues in machines and equipment and carry out necessary repairs promptly.
- Identify mechanical problems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble components as required.
- Perform emergency breakdown repairs with minimum disruption to production schedules.
- Replace worn-out parts, such as belts, gears, valves, and other mechanical components.
- Implement and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for all machinery.
- Lubricate and clean equipment as per maintenance plans to extend equipment life and efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and replacements done on equipment.
- Suggest and implement improvements or modifications to machinery for better performance, efficiency, and safety.
- Work with the engineering team to upgrade equipment and introduce new systems for better productivity.
- Adhere to safety standards, guidelines, and protocols while working on machinery and equipment.
- Ensure that all machines and tools are compliant with the necessary safety regulations.
- Identify and report any safety hazards related to machinery or working conditions.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure machines are running efficiently and production targets are met.
- Provide technical support to operators and other staff when necessary.
- Maintain an inventory of essential spare parts and tools.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining stock levels of replacement parts required for machinery repairs.
- Maintain records of all machine maintenance, repairs, and part replacements.
- Report machine downtime and breakdowns to supervisors and management.
- Prepare daily maintenance logs and submit them for record-keeping and analysis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
