**Job description - Accountant**
- Journal entries for Inventory, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments, receipts, routine transactions in Oracle EBS 12.2.12
- Participate in month end closing, preparing the more complex journal entries and preparing and maintaining various accounts reconciliations for certain significant accounts.
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare for month-end closing
- Participate in year-end audit preparation and quarterly reviews.
- Assist in the daily banking requirements
- Collaborate with other Corporate and field departments to support the Accounting department overall goals and objectives
- Extensive use of Excel and the handling of large amounts of data manipulation using Pivot tables
- Proactive in identifying workflow process improvements / efficiencies
- Additional projects and tasks as assigned by accounting department leaders
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, in a self-driven manner
