As a Junior Merchandiser at Varthagam International, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and, occasionally, assist with purchasing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the fashion industry, working closely with our production and purchasing teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing the production process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to track production schedules and meet quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering materials and supplies as needed.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
- Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand product specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and analyze reports on production and inventory metrics.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays in the production process.
- Support the senior merchandiser and production manager in daily tasks and projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Any Degree/Diploma. (Experienced/Fresher both can apply)
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of production processes and supply chain management.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
