**Position Overview**:
A hospital pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications in a healthcare setting. They play a critical role in ensuring patients receive safe and effective pharmaceutical care, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Dispensing and Medication Management**:

- Prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately.
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness and potential interactions.
- Manage the hospital’s drug inventory, including procurement and storage.
- **Patient Care and Collaboration**:

- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and adjust patient treatment plans.
- Provide guidance on drug selection, dosages, and administration routes.
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- **Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and legal requirements.
- Conduct audits to maintain safety and quality standards in pharmaceutical services.
- **Clinical Support and Research**:

- Participate in ward rounds to provide drug-related expertise.
- Conduct and assist with research to improve treatment protocols and drug utilization.
- Monitor patient responses to therapies and document outcomes.
- **Education and Training**:

- Train and mentor pharmacy interns, students, and junior staff.
- Educate healthcare staff on new drugs and emerging treatment approaches.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD); postgraduate training preferred.
- **Licensure**: Active pharmacist license as per local or national regulations.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and clinical therapeutics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling and team collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in medical software and inventory management systems.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
