The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing round-the-clock medical care to patients, handling emergencies, and coordinating with specialist doctors as needed. The DMO ensures that patients receive timely and appropriate medical attention in accordance with hospital protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and manage inpatient and outpatient cases during assigned duty hours
- Attend to emergency and casualty cases and initiate first-line treatment
- Maintain patient records, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with consultants and specialists for critical cases
- Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, and resuscitation
- Ensure proper handover of cases between shifts
- Monitor patient vitals, progress notes, and nursing care quality
- Attend code blue and medical emergencies promptly
- Maintain timely documentation and reports as per hospital norms
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and hygiene standards
- Supervise junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff during shift

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: MBBS (mandatory); Registration with Medical Council
- **Experience**: 0-3 years of clinical experience preferred (Freshers can apply)
- **Skills Required**:

- Strong clinical judgment and emergency handling
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Work Conditions**:

- Rotational Shifts (Day/Night/Weekend)
- Hospital-based setting, including emergency and ICU environments
- May require extended working hours during emergencies
