**Application Security Tester (Security Test Engineer)**

**Educational Qualification**:

- B.E / B.Tech (In any stream)/ MCA / MSc (CS/IT) or post-graduation in (CS/IT) / BSc (CS/IT)/ BCA

**Certification Details**:

- Any IT Security related certificates such as Offensive Security, GSSP, CSSLP, ECSP, CCIE-Security,Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) of EC-Council, etc.

**Professional work experience**:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing. Should have carried out at least five IT Security Audits, preferably two of which should be in the last 12 months in line with the CERT-IN norms. Experience in working heterogeneous work environments.

**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Experience in analysing and in identifying the vulnerabilities manually & using security tools.
- Experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing using industry standard tools such as Vulnerability Scanners for e.g. Nessus Pro, Metaexploit, Burp Suite Pro, etc.
- Experience in using security frameworks such as Metaexploit, Kali Linux etc.
- Experience and knowledge of Web Application Security standards such as OWASP etc.
- The Security Test Engineer should have the ability to stay organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
- The security tester will be responsible for the development and execution of the individual assessment tasks assigned to them and to prepare a detailed report in its regards as desired.
- The security tester will prepare VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) reports using defined templates.
- The security tester will prepare the test/assessment plans, test cases, and test scenarios to perform the security audit.
