Graphic Designer

**Job Summary**
The graphic designer job includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including catalogs, illustrations, logos, layouts and related design requirements. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.

Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.

The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Plans concept by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Key Skills**
Proven graphic designing experience, A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics, Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop), A keen eye for aesthetics and details, Excellent communication skills, Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines, Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus

- **Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, or interior design, or equivalent experience.**:
