**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Manual & Automated Testing**:

- Test for both functional and non-functional aspects, including performance, usability, and security.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for repetitive testing tasks.
- **Bug Reporting & Documentation**:

- Identify, record, and report bugs and issues through the bug tracking system.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce issues and provide detailed feedback.
- Create detailed test cases, test plans and test reports for ongoing testing activities.
- **Regression & Performance Testing**:

- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or fixes don’t break existing functionality.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure that the app works smoothly under various load conditions.
- Test app behavior on multiple Android devices with varying screen sizes and OS versions.
- **Collaboration with Development Team**:

- Work closely with the development team to understand app features and functionality to create effective test cases.
- Collaborate with developers to identify the root cause of issues and suggest improvements.
- **Test Coverage & Improvement**:

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage of all app features and workflows.
- Continuously improve the test suite to cover new features and handle edge cases.
- **Usability & UI Testing**:

- Test for usability issues to ensure the app is user-friendly and meets UX/UI standards.
- Identify and report UI/UX inconsistencies or potential improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an **Android Tester** or in **Quality Assurance** for mobile apps, with a focus on **Android** platforms.
- Strong knowledge of **Android development environments**, such as Android Studio, and an understanding of the Android app lifecycle.
- Experience with **manual testing** and familiarity with **automated testing** tools such as **Appium**, **Selenium** or **JUnit**.
- Familiarity with version control systems like **Git**.
- Knowledge of common mobile testing techniques, such as functional, regression, UI, usability, performance, and security testing.
- Solid understanding of **Android OS**, APIs, and third-party libraries and frameworks used in Android app development.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with **performance testing** and tools like **LoadRunner**, **JMeter** or others.
- Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** and automated testing integration.
- Experience with **Firebase** or other crash reporting tools.
- Understanding of **mobile security testing** and best practices.
- Knowledge of **API testing** using tools like **Postman** or **SoapUI**.
