A **Logistics Executive** is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain operations of a company. **Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Executive**:

- **Supply Chain Management**:

- Coordinate procurement, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers or retail outlets.
- **Transportation & Shipping**:

- Arrange and track shipments via road, rail, sea, or air.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers.
- **Warehouse & Inventory Control**:

- Supervise stock levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
- Implement inventory management systems (e.g., FIFO, JIT).
- **Cost Optimization**:

- Reduce logistics expenses by optimizing routes and consolidating shipments.
- Analyze freight costs and vendor performance.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:

- Ensure adherence to shipping regulations (customs, import/export laws).
- Manage logistics documentation (bills of lading, invoices, permits).
- **Technology & Systems**:

- Use logistics software (ERP, TMS, WMS) for tracking and reporting.
- Implement automation and AI-driven logistics solutions.
- **Vendor & Customer Coordination**:

- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to resolve delays.
- Handle customer complaints related to shipping and delivery.
