UX Interaction Designer, Google Cloud

**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX)
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Advanced degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience using design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Figjam)
- Experience working collaboratively with other designers (e.g., UX researchers, UX writers, product managers, and engineers)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate positions and advocate designs

- In this role as a UX Interaction Designer, you’ll take on tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs. You will collaborate with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process.

**Responsibilities**:
- Understand Google Cloud Platform products, technologies, user motivations, market opportunities, and competition.
- Translate technical and business requirements into usable and powerful products, create designs (e.g., user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes), and communicate design intent to both internal and external teams.
- Work in all stages of the product life-cycle from an idea to concept, build, and post-launch.
- Work with Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers in a changing environment.
- Communicate design ideas, rationalize and justify decisions, and advocate for users’ needs.
