About MSSRF : The M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) was established in 1988 as a not

The Foundation aims to accelerate the use of modern science for agricultural and rural
development through the development and dissemination of technology to improve

options to address practical problems faced by rural populations in agriculture, food,
and nutrition.

Essential Qualification : Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences/
Biotechnology/ Botany with minimum 60% marks.

Period : The above position is purely on a temporary, contractual basis with a maximum

The initial appointment will be for one year and will be extended based on the

Remuneration : (i) Rs. 31000/- + 24% HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National
Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant

Agencies and Institutions.

(ii) Rs. 25000/- + 24% HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
