Purchase Officer

Procure marine equipment, parts, and supplies in line with company requirements, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and specifications.
- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier interactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely reordering to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Process purchase requisitions, obtain quotations, and issue purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as technical, logistics, and operations to determine procurement needs and resolve any discrepancies.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and service standards are met.
- Resolve any procurement-related issues, including delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies between orders and invoices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market prices, and potential suppliers to continually improve procurement practices.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive procurement information.
- Participate in the development of procurement strategies and sourcing policies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
