## **Job Overview**:
## **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead and manage the blasting team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conduct regular team briefings and training to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed.
- **Operational Management**:

- Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are in good working condition.
- Ensure that all blasting activities comply with industry standards and project specifications.
- **Quality Control**:

- Oversee the quality of blasting operations, ensuring surfaces are prepared to the required standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to minimize rework and ensure client satisfaction.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including progress reports, equipment logs, and safety documentation.
- Report any issues or delays to the project manager and suggest solutions to maintain project timelines.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Liaise with clients to ensure their specifications are met and address any concerns or adjustments required during the project.
- Ensure that all work is passed and approved by the client before moving to the next phase.

## **Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Blasting Supervisor or similar role in the industrial sector.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

## **Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in large-scale industrial projects.
- Knowledge of temperature monitoring and environmental considerations in blasting operations.
