**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development, optimization, and execution of bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing high-throughput metagenomics sequencing data.
- Present analysis results and insights to cross-functional teams, contributing to scientific publications and reports.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bioinformatics methods, tools, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot data and pipeline-related issues.

**Preferred skills**:

- Solid understanding of Metagenomic data analysis.
- Familiarity with high-throughput sequencing technologies (e.g., Illumina, PacBio, Oxford Nanopore).
- Experience in working with Linux/Unix environments & cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Bash, with a strong focus on reproducibility and documentation.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitLab/GitHub.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, data visualization, and handling of large datasets.
- Experience with bioinformatics pipeline automation (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake) is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning new bioinformatics tools and techniques
- Commitment to high-quality scientific research and analysis.

**Eligibility**:

- M.Sc. in Bioinformatics. 1-2 years of previous working experience in bioinformatics, metagenomics, or gut microbiome research is a plus.
