**Job Description - Auto-CAD Technician**

As a CAD Technician, competent in the use of Auto-CAD software. He/she will be responsible for quality project delivery. Good understanding of transport Design and Global Delivery type business area and should be a team player. Ensure clean delivery with close coordination with Team lead, project manager, delivery team and project reviewer. We invite you to bring your strong knowledge of AutoCAD into play as you is responsible to provide drafting support to technically challenging projects. Technician would create 2D drawings and 3D models and shall be responsible for the technical quality of his own work and would focus on compliance with project objectives and quality standards. International project experience is an added advantage. To succeed in this role you must have Diploma & ITI in Civil Engineering

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or service
- Will need to coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for drafting work in a given project.
- Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents
- Preparation of all types of Roads and junction drawings, utility modelling
- Documenting and reporting
- Exercises self-discipline and work ethics
- Respect and follow company policies and procedures
- Carry out self-checks of his/her works as per company policy
- Maintaining filled-up documentations for all models and drawings

**Skills Needed**:

- Bachelors of Civil Engineering or Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering with 3 to 6 years of professional experience in Highway/Roadway Projects.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D and any other design software like Softwares like Microstation2D, Civil 3D experience & AutoLisp programming experience.
- Experience in preparation of general arrangement drawings, plan and profile, layouts, setting out drawings of urban/ rural roads, road junctions, road signages and drainage drawings is required
- Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines
- Committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience
- Relevant experience in working with Global Delivery type of setup with International teams.
- Ability to work both as part of a sophisticated multi-disciplinary team as well as possessing the ability to work independently to solve problems.
- Due to international nature of the role we expect that you will share our global mindset, are willing to work in an international environment and are fluent in English
- Your communications skills in English are very good, both written and verbal. You are expected to explain and present work to colleagues of various levels in other countries.
