The Solutions Architect is responsible for the design of complex customer solutions delivered by NTT. The solutions are primarily based on our portfolio of managed hosting components with customisation where required. They can vary greatly in size and complexity from a single site ecommerce platform to Global outsourcing solutions.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a combination of deep level technical understanding in Azure, aligned with the consultancy skills required to guide and inspire customers and lead delivery teams.

Whilst the role involves working with a variety of customers, you may be engaged as a Solutions ArchItect for specific named accounts. This involves being accountable for the overall architecture, supported by fellow TA’s and Engineers. There will be regular client interaction and oversight on the managed platform as it evolves during the term of the contract.

- Technical Leadership: Leverage best practices to guide client’s strategy and architecture Microsoft, including; Infrastructure design, Databases, Data management, AI, Infrastructure as code (CI/CD pipelines),

- Client Understanding: design and present complex solutions based Azure platform with the ability to create and present High Level options with benefits to clients
- Continuous Learner: Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community.
- Microsoft Focused: Azure Platform evangelist with clients, including understanding all funding options (ECIF, AMMP available)

Professional
- Sales and negotiation experience, technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, technical sales experience, or related work or internship experience OR equivalent experience.

Technical
- Experience in one or more of the following: designing architecture, networking, container services, data center migrations or database administration, design and architect experience in data analytics, coding/development, cloud-based solution designs, migrations or management of technology.
- Required certifications from Microsoft (Cloud Solution Architect Expert) AZ104 + AZ 303/304/ or 305, DP 203/204)
- Experience in designing solutions with AWS and or GCP advantageous
- Solution design knowledge for Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND sales and negotiation experience, technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, technical sales experience, or related work or internship experience

- Capability and confidence to support pre-sales activities across NTT’s client base.
- Comfortable owning, leading, and executing project deliverables, providing technical oversight and quality assurance to meet customer objectives and expectations.
- Familiarity in working with clients of varying size and profile, from global majors to mid-size enterprise clients and public sector.
- Demonstrable experience in producing high-quality design documentation, from architectural level through to detailed design.
- Previous involvement in reviewing both the technical and financial elements of proposals and statements of work to ensure scope, deliverables and resources meet the stated requirements and objectives defined within.
- Possession of excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, and organisational skills.
- Capability to manage customer expectations when things don’t go to plan.
- Proven ability to work under pressure whether alone or as part of a team.
- Tenacious attention to detail and quality.

Mandatory Skills

Architectural, design and delivery expertise of:

- Expert or multiple Professional level accreditations, with a proven capability in the architectural design, implementation, migration, and operation of private, public, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Azure Public Cloud knowledge and related cloud technologies
