**Job Summary**:
A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures. Their role is to ensure the project is completed within its projected budget and in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation & Budgeting**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Develop and monitor project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide cost control support and recommendations to keep projects within budget.
- **BOQ & Tendering**:

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural and engineering drawings.
- Analyze and evaluate tenders submitted by subcontractors and suppliers.
- Participate in tender preparation and pricing strategies.
- **Project Monitoring & Reporting**:

- Monitor project costs and report any variances to the management team.
- Create financial progress reports and cash flow projections.
- **Contract Management**:

- Prepare, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage disputes or variations.
- **Procurement Support**:

- Assist in procurement of materials and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- **Site Visits & Measurements**:

- Conduct site inspections to verify completed work against invoices or claims.
- Measure quantities of materials used and labor involved on-site.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify potential risks in cost and delivery and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Provide early warnings of cost overrun or schedule slippage.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with architects, engineers, site engineers, and other project stakeholders.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., CostX, Primavera, Revit, etc.)
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the real estate or construction industry
- Familiarity with local construction laws, codes, and standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
