**Position: Quantity Surveyor Engineer (QS)**

**Location: Bangalore (Relocatable)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation**:

- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for projects based on architectural plans and specifications.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost accuracy and forecasting future financial requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project profitability.
- **Tender and Contract Management**:

- Prepare tender documentation and manage the bidding process for contractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with contractors, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.
- Review and assess variations, claims, and contractual changes, advising on their impact on project costs.
- **Cost Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor ongoing project costs and compare actual expenditure against project budget.
- Produce cost reports, highlighting variances and potential risks to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all financial aspects of the project, including variations, cash flow, and final accounts.
- **Project Valuation and Payments**:

- Perform valuations of completed work and arrange interim payments for contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments, processing invoices, and managing financial documentation.
- Prepare final project accounts and resolve any contractual claims or disputes.
- **Procurement and Risk Management**:

- Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors, optimizing cost efficiency.
- Conduct risk analysis and mitigation planning to avoid budget overruns and delays.
- Provide cost advice to support project decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- **Site Visits and Inspections**:

- Visit construction sites regularly to monitor progress, check quality standards, and ensure compliance with contracts.
- Identify discrepancies and propose cost-effective solutions to potential problems on-site.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost control, and contract management within the construction industry.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in cost estimation and project management software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors.
- **Numerical and Analytical Skills**: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial and contractual management.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle unexpected project risks, delays, and changes while maintaining cost control.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily office-based with regular visits to construction sites.
- May involve occasional travel, depending on project locations.

Pay: ₹14,935.41 - ₹49,935.00 per month
