**Job Overview**:We are looking for a passionate **Community Mobilizer** to lead community engagement efforts for the restoration of local water bodies. The role involves organising community-driven activities, fostering partnerships, and supporting waterbody maintenance through effective coordination with the technical team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Community Engagement & Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Identify and engage key stakeholders**:Gram Panchayat**, **farmers**, **fishermen**, **local leaders**, and **government officials**.
- Conduct **focus group discussions** to document **water usage patterns** and concerns and Collect data on community water usage.
- Formation of Water Users Group / Water Management Committee.
- **Plantation & Maintenance**:

- Organise and manage **community plantation events** in collaboration with **HCL Nagpur** and local volunteers.
- Assign tasks for **watering**, **plant health monitoring**, and appoint **community caretakers**.
- **Training & Capacity Building**:

- Develop and deliver training on **water management** and **sustainable practices**.
- Collaborate with experts to conduct **workshops** and **orientation sessions** for the community and local authorities.
- **Waterbody Assessment & Planning**:

- Assess **waterbody conditions** (e.g., siltation, plantation upkeep) in collaboration with the **Water Resource Engineer**.
- Help create **maintenance plans** and ensure community involvement in implementation with the Water Resource Engineer.
- **Collaboration & Documentation**:

- Align **waterbody maintenance** goals with **Gram Panchayat priorities** and facilitate **meetings** with local authorities.

**Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree** in **Environmental Science**, **Social Work**, **Community Development**, or related field. **A Masters degree** in Community development & social work is preferred.
- **1-3 years of experience** in **community mobilisation** or **environmental projects**.
- Experience with **Gram Panchayat** and **stakeholder coordination**.

**Skills**:

- Strong **communication** and **community engagement skills**.
- Ability to **organise** events and **lead** community initiatives.
- Familiarity with **sustainable water management** practices.
