**What you’ll do**:
**Role title: General Manager (Senior Cyber Security Manager) - Cyber Defense**

**Background**
Vodafone continues to invest in Cyber Security to mitigate its Cyber Risk. _VOIS is the Global Capability Center (GCC) of Vodafone in Egypt, Romania, India, and other locations. It provides various services and capabilities to its entities in various countries across the globe. _VOIS India has offices at Pune, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.

Within _VOIS, Tech_VOIS Cyber Security comprises of ~350+ cyber security professionals. We are currently the largest Cyber Security team, in any Global Capability Center (GCC) of a global entity in India. We are continuously looking for industry’s top talent in Cyber Security to further grow the capabilities and further solidify our position.

Within our Cyber Security team which works for the Global Cyber Security, we are broadly organised into Core Services and Emerging Services. Core Services include Platforms Architecture & Engineering Services, Cyber Operations, DevSecOps, Vulnerability, Hardening & Patching Management. Emerging services comprise of Technology Risk & Compliance, Data Loss Prevention Alerts Monitoring and Triage, and Penetration Testing services.

**Role Purpose**
The General Manager (Senior Cyber Security Manager) - Cyber Defense will be responsible for ensuring delivery of following services from India:
- Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC),
- Cyber Defense Incident Management (CDIM),
- Cyber Defense Operations Enablement (CDOE).

The Cyber Defense team focuses on mitigation of Cyber Risk by defending against Cyber incidents. The General Manager will also act as engagement lead for all Cyber Defense services delivered for Global Cyber Security from _VOIS Cyber Global Service Line (GSL). In addition to the above mentioned services, this includes vulnerability management and penetration testing services.

**Qualifications**:

- More than 15 (fifteen) years of diverse experience in IT
- Worked in Cyber Security for global, large-size enterprises with presence across various continents especially Europe, US, and Africa
- A holistic mix of experience across cyber security operations, technology risk management, regulatory compliance, technology industry standards, technology audits, and hand-on security infrastructure management experience
- Managed a team size of 35+ in prior roles, directly or indirectly
- Experience in managing financials of the function
- Knowledge of various cyber security standards NIST, OWASP, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001, among others
- Knowledge of emerging areas in cyber security - Cyber Forensics, Threat Intelligence
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, Cloud Security, Mobile Security, Data Analytics
- Good understanding of agile ways of working.
- Well read about the current state of cyber security including emerging threats from global state actors
- Well informed about the cyber security technology industry about upcoming products
- Active in the cyber security industry communities and forums in India
