- As an experienced Information Security Services provider we will help lead a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen your operations
- The post holder will be part of 24X7 support Platform engineering Team. He/she will oversee the ownership of technical elements of the IMPSS/SCM Security Management Platform, including but not limited to Access management, Out of Band Management, implementation, monitoring and alerting support, maintenance, capacity planning upgrades and patches. The post holder will act as technical member supporting new and existing products in life service Security solutions for BT & its global client.
- The role holder will be responsible for technical troubleshooting for L3 level escalated incidents/ plateform related issues for end users. The primary function of the role holder will be to take action on requests from the customers, to ensure that services remain available and operational.
- Accountabilities- Work in ITIL processed environment on Incident management, Change management, Service request and Problem Management. Who also take accountability in all the actions taken in order to resolve the same.
- Patch management, OS Upgrades
- Follow pre-defined actions to handle BAU and High severity issues including escalating to other support groups Execute daily adhoc tasks or lead small projects as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve complex incidents where solution may not be clear or procedure may not exist identified through proactive monitoring or escalated by a less senior engineer.
- To support the delivery of security services that influence and/or provide the security infrastructure for BT's customers.
- Technical skills- Must have:
- Firewall - Cisco ASA, Checkpoint (PV-1, CMA/MDS, Cluster XL, VRRP, VSX), Palo Alto FW & Panorama, Prisma, Fortinet (Firewall, Manager, Analyser), SD-WAN
- Proxy
- Bluecoat Proxy, Zscaler proxy etc.
- AAA Server
- Cisco ISE & ACS
- Load balancers
- Basics of F5 BIG IQ, LTM & GTM.
- Server management
- Linux base & MS Window Operating System
- MS windows Active Directory and Server support management
- Strong Network security fundamentals
- Knowledge of Change and Incident management tools like ServiceNow, Expedio, NGSD & JIRA etc.
- FW Analyser - Skybox/ Algosec
- PAM solution - Cyberark
- Experience- Mandatory 5-8 Years experience in the field of network Security.- Bachelor's Degree or graduation in Computer Science, ECE
- Experience of working in operation and understanding of ITIL functions.
- Information/Network security Certifications preferred
- Ability to communicate (both written & oral) clearly with various internal stakeholders and customer
- Ability to provide Tier 2 & 3 support and manage complex and escalated tickets in production environment.
- High level skills to deliver quality service in individual role to deliver service as per agreed SLAs.
- Experience of working on ticketing-tools.
