**Job Responsibilities/duties-**
- Follow the product development as executed by the Product assisted by Graphic designer.
- Understanding the perception, cognitive abilities, hand-eye coordination, and motor abilities of kids of different age-groups.
- Provide the full curated experience of the DIY toy/kit to the kid, as designed, through the medium of a printed IM booklet
- Plan the IM booklet design with dates and buffer time to hit the production handover deadline.
- Assist the Product designer to test the product with kids of the appropriate age group.
- Facilitate precise handover of 3D model and design of the product, to start work on the IM, according to the SOP.
- Understand the sequential step-by-step assembly of the product and suggest improvements to the product designer, for ease of assembly.
- Finalize the sequence of assembly by creating a picture reference sheet for the 3D designer.
- Work closely and direct the 3D renderer to generate accurate renders according to the syntax.
- Creatively represent the ‘Gameplay rules’ and ‘Science behind this section’ in conjunction with the Product designer and Content creator.
- Compile the full IM booklet including Cover pages, Initial pages, Steps of Assembly, Gameplay, and Science Inside sections with accurate part or module names/numbers, Quantities, Sheets, and Pouches etc.
- Proof-read and check the test-print of the IM to make sure no small errors have been made.
- Facilitate the export of the file and upload by Project Manager at the set deadlines.

**Software Skills**:

- Adobe Indesign (Advanced)
- Adobe Illustrator (Intermediate)
- Adobe Photoshop (Intermediate)
- Keyshot (very basic, 3D Visualizer will handle Keyshot but direction comes from IM designer)

**Other Skills**:

- Problem solving skills with a logical approach, validated by user testing.
- Always following a data and process driven approach while executing projects.
- Strong written and communication skills with technically inclined vocabulary.
- Technically proficient with in-depth software knowledge who knows the smartest way around a problem.
- Being detail oriented in terms of elements used in the IM and how they are perceived by the user.
- Adaptability to high performance requiring situations, and showing initiative to use and learn new skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline, with at least 3 years’ experience in design, graphic or print layout design, instructional design, publishing design, magazine design, Print Media (not advertising), etc.
- Any past work experience around products or educational material for kids is a positive.
