**Job Title**: Pre-Primary Teacher

**Reports To**: Head of Pre-Primary / Principal

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning.
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that supports the emotional well-being of every child.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques and materials aligned with the curriculum to support learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records of development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Create a clean, safe, and organized classroom that encourages learning through play.
- Encourage appropriate social behavior through positive guidance and reinforcement.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan events, activities, and educational initiatives.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions.
- Follow school policies and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Certification in Montessori or other early education programs (preferred).
- Proven experience as a pre-primary or kindergarten teacher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a love for working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position.
- Classroom-based with regular interaction with children, parents, and other educators.
- May require participation in after-school events or parent-teacher meetings.
