**Product Manager - Govt Banking
- Department- Public Affairs & Government Business- Reporting Relationship- Product Manager**Business Description
Product Manager Role is responsible for strategy, roadmap and customer experience for the product/ program across various channels/ media available. It involves comprehensive understanding of all the key stake holders viz consumer; industry; regulator; organization, channels.

A product manager develops holistic understanding of the industry at product level including dynamics, markets and consumer behavior affecting the product distribution.

Expectation of high level of perfection as well as knowledge in everything a product manager does as the champion of the product is natural and will require capability to assimilate varying aspects of a product lifecycle to succeed.

**Job Role:
Product Development & Mgmt
- To define the strategy and the roadmap of a product line
- Understanding of Govt. Agency Business like CBDT. GST, CBIC, PPF, Pension etc
- Responsible for P&L of a product line and portfolio understanding
- Developing product offering and solutions catering to various segment
- Liaising with Channels, Acquisition & servicing of Govt. clients
- Creating Business Solutions, Digital solutions for Mandates
- Understanding and Tracking Market Trends and Competition Monitoring
- Checks and balances on the portfolio to understand the portfolio behavior
- Ability to innovate across product lines
- Driving Product Campaigns basis customer insights and analytics.
- Conceptualize and Execute Reward and recognition program Work on various mandates received by bank to acquire government mandates

Regulatory & Process
- Ability to understand and keep a track of regulatory landscape Understanding Data Trends, picking out inefficiencies in product/process and formulating Corrective actionable.

Product Branding
- KDM events and interactions Product Branding & Campaign mgmt

**Job Requirements:
- Strategic insights and ability to read and understand data
- Ability to read consumer behavior and trends
- Innovative and problem solving approach
- High on process and technology understanding
- Understanding of customer life cycle
- Understanding of regulatory framework and banking
- Degree in Technology or Management
- 0-2 years’ experience in Product Management
