**Job summary**

The Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in controlling construction costs by managing all aspects of contractual and financial side of projects. The role involves managing costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring that contracts are financially viable and accurately budgeted.

Key Responsibilities
- **Billing Management**: Oversee and manage the entire billing process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- **Cost Estimation**: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment, for various stages of construction projects.
- **Contract Administration**: Monitor contract terms, ensure compliance with contractual documentation, and manage any changes or variations to the contract effectively.
- **Project Budget Management**: Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets to align with project goals and financial objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- **Tender Analysis and Documentation**: Analyze tender documents, manage bid processes, and prepare tender reports for review and approval.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks related to project costs and financial exposure, advising on mitigation strategies as necessary.
- **Software Proficiency**: Auto-CAD, MS-Office, SAP2000

Key Requirements
- **Experience**: 4-9 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the real estate, road, and highways sector.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, B.Tech/B.E., or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in industry-standard software tools relevant to quantity surveying and cost management.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- Membership in a recognized professional body such as RICS
