Job Location: NEW DELHI : 5 Days Working This is a team member position in the K - 12 education sector for South Asia. The Senior Editor - Social Science will be responsible for high-quality education content development and publishing in curriculum K-12. 2) AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Curriculum mapping and competition analysis - To be responsible for analyzing curriculum and ensure that the books are mapped to the said curriculum - To carry out in-depth competition analysis and provide insights to stakeholders in order to be competitive in the market Development editing & compliance to house style - To be responsible for development editing of manuscript of titles or series assigned by reporting manager - To ensure that all the edits are in compliance - To implement the stylesheet for a book during typesetting and layout Liaising with authors, vendors & freelancers - To interact with authors, freelancers, and vendors for project related work - To ensure that they deliver contents and services on time with the expected quality Adherence to timelines, processes and workflows - To ensure that the production cycle follows established processes and workflows - To strictly follow timeline and schedule to meet the production deadlines with the expected quality Developing digital resources in conjunction with PT team - To work on the development of digital resources - To interact and work closely with PT team to ensure the seamless delivery of digital resources 3) KEY REQUIREMENTS: - Work Experience: 8-10 Years - Education Qualification: Must have B.A. in Social Science/Sociology Political Science/Geography/History/Humanities Schedule: - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - total work: 5 years (preferred)
