As a Prepress Production Operator, you will be responsible for digital pre-flighting and preparation of customers' files for printing on offset, digital and large format press. The ideal person for this job will be someone who is responsible and pays attention to details and has experience dealing with customer files.

We have a fast-paced, exciting work environment with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and prepare customer supplied artwork for printing
- Create PDF proofs using both customer-supplied artworks
- Check all work to ensure proofs are accurate
- Communicate effectively with co-workers
- Work closely with clients, customer service, and sales on multiple projects at any given time

**Troubleshoot artwork**
- Cross-train in areas where assistance is needed

**QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Strong Knowledge of Adobe Indesign & illustrator on Windows Platforms
- 3+ years of Prepress and printing/bindery experience
- Must have high attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with co-workers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General knowledge of printing terminology and practices will be good to have.
- Good math skills (fraction to decimal conversion).
- Detail-oriented with good organizational, written, and verbal skill
- A positive, team-oriented attitude, fast learner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Must perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Reliable transportation

You will be working from home. You will need a fast internet connection and a fast computer. You will be remote desktop to a computer here and do all the work. We will reimburse you for the fast internet connection up to Rs 1000/month.

You will be using Hubstaff to report all hours and will be using Microsoft Office 365 to manage communication (outlook and Teams are heavily used)

Your supervisor is located in Kolkata India and will be working and training you during regular IST for the first 2 months. Once you are trained and can do the work then you will shift to the following work schedule:
4 hours during our Pacific Time i.e. from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM Pacific Time. The other 4 hours can be during IST

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
