**POSITION PURPOSE**:
This position will be responsible for developing and successfully executing QA test strategies and test plans, and related testing services for Cash management stream. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation scripts for regression and performance testing for multiple supported systems. We are looking for top-notch, energetic talent to keep up with the industry’s momentum and support the QA efforts.

**Responsibilities**

**DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Update, Optimize, and refactor the existing automation framework built using the karate framework to improve performance, reusability and scalability
- Work closely with development, product, and QA teams to understand requirements, and setup test data, and ensure automation coverage for new and existing features.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the automation scripts, including handling failures, debugging, and updating tests as needed
- Configure and manage test data for automated tests.
- Generate test execution reports and logs, and communicate results to stakeholders.

**IT Skills & Behavioral Competencies**
- 4 to 7 years of experience in test automation;
- Exposure to Karate framework is desirable
- Strong experience with API testing and UI testing using karate framework, including a solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes
- Exposure to SOAP UI and Postman is needed
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in managing test data and test environments.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools like Jira/TestRail
- Exposure to other testing frameworks or tools(e.g., Selenium, RestAssured) is a plus
- Exposure to working on Payments/transactions will be plus

**TECHNICAL SKILLS**:

- Test Automation Tools
- Karate framework or Selenium
- Cucumber + Gherkin syntax
- Application Lifecycle Management and QA Specific Tools
- HP Quality Center or Octane
- Operating Systems
- Experience in navigating Unix
- Programming (skill at levels consistent with grey/white box testing)
- Exposure to Java script
- Exposure to Java or Python
- Experience working with SOAP UI based secure web services and API testing
- SQL database query expertise
- Exposure to no SQL database like Mongo, Cassandra will be a plus
- QA experience on bulk file processing will be a good addon
