About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder Trainee to join our multi-specialty healthcare team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for life sciences or paramedical graduates to build a career in medical coding and healthcare information management.

Key Responsibilities
- Learn to translate medical documentation into accurate diagnostic and procedural codes
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes for patient encounters, procedures, and diagnoses
- Review medical records to ensure complete and accurate documentation
- Verify coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in regular training to enhance coding skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve documentation discrepancies
- Stay current with coding guidelines and healthcare regulation changes

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Paramedical field
- AAPC or AHIMA certification (mandatory for freshers)
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Basic knowledge of medical coding principles
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
