The Pharmacy In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing inventory, supervising staff, and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to customers or patients. This role involves administrative, operational, and professional responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient pharmacy functioning.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**
- Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with local drug laws, licensing requirements, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, narcotics, and other controlled substances.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).

**Inventory & Procurement**
- Manage stock levels, storage conditions, and expiry monitoring.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of medicines and consumables.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies

**Staff Supervision**
- ead, train, and monitor pharmacy staff.
- Assign duties and create work schedules.
- Ensure staff compliance with professional and ethical standards.

**Customer Service & Dispensing**
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and authenticity.
- Counsel patients/customers on correct medication usage and side effects.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

**Compliance & Reporting**
- Maintain legal records as per regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on sales, inventory, and operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm/D.Pharm as per local laws).
- **Licensing**: Valid pharmacist license from relevant authority.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years in retail or hospital pharmacy, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drug regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
