**About the Anandam Project**

**Anandam** is a **first-of-its-kind Day Care Center in Bihar**, designed to offer **non-residential, center-based eldercare** for seniors with chronic conditions, while simultaneously reducing the burden on family caregivers. The centre will be located in **Patna** and will provide structured **day care services** focused on health, rehabilitation, and emotional well-being.

The initiative aims to fill a **critical gap in Bihar’s healthcare ecosystem** by offering daily **medical supervision, rehabilitation, dementia support, and palliative care**—services that are otherwise only accessible in hospitals or institutional settings. By enabling seniors to _“live fully and age gracefully,”_ Anandam seeks to **delay or avoid unnecessary hospitalisation and institutionalisation**, allowing elders to remain within their communities.

The project is being implemented by the **Center for Caregiver Training & Development (CCTD)**, the not-for-profit arm of Life Circle Health Services Pvt. Ltd., **in partnership with the Department of Health, Government of Bihar**. In addition to providing eldercare, Anandam also plays a vital role in **supporting informal family caregivers—especially women—by offering structured daytime respite and professional back-up care**.

**About the Role**

As a **Physiotherapist**, you will play a central role in the recovery, mobility enhancement, and overall well-being of seniors attending the Anandam Day Care Centre. You will work with elderly clients recovering from strokes, fractures, neurological conditions, or general age-related decline, and deliver structured rehabilitation programs aimed at preserving or improving functional independence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct individual assessments and develop tailored rehab plans.
- Deliver physiotherapy sessions focusing on strength, balance, and pain management.
- Lead group exercises and mobility classes for seniors.
- Collaborate with nursing, mental health, and medical teams to provide integrated care.
- Track progress, document outcomes, and adapt plans as needed.
- Educate caregivers and families on safe mobility practices and home exercises.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT)** from a recognized institution.
- Registered with a state council (preferably Bihar).
- Minimum 5 **years of experience**, preferably with elderly, neuro-rehab, or community health.

**Preferred Attributes**
- Experience in geriatric or neuro-muscular rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with fall prevention, mobility aids, and post-stroke care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, encouraging, and motivational approach to therapy.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
