**Job Title**: Indian Sous Chef
**Location**: Igatpuri, Maharashtra
**Salary**: ₹40,000 - ₹50,000 per month (with food & accommodation provided)
**Duty Hours**: 9-10 hours daily
**Shift Type**: Straight Shift
**Weekly Off**: 1 day per week (as per standard schedule)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and manage Indian cuisine for daily operations, including buffets for 200-300 guests.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and execution.
- Ensure proper food costing and portion control.
- Oversee inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and buffet systems.
- Experience in cooking for large groups (200-300 people).
- Strong understanding of food costing and inventory control.
- Proven experience in menu planning and kitchen supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
