- **Communicating with students and parents-**Science teachers communicate with students and parents to provide an optimal learning experience. They also collaborate with other teachers and parents to support students' progress.
- **Promoting safety-**Science teachers instruct students in school safety and emergency drill procedures. They also provide instruction about lab equipment safety.
- **Administrative duties-**Science teachers perform administrative duties like taking the class register.
