**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Diagnosis and Treatment**:

- Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans for various periodontal conditions.
- **Surgical Procedures**:

- Perform advanced surgical procedures such as scaling and root planning, flap surgery, bone grafting, and soft tissue grafting.
- Utilize mínimally invasive techniques and technologies, including laser therapy, to improve patient outcomes.
- **Patient Care**:

- Educate patients on periodontal health, treatment options, and the importance of oral hygiene.
- Provide comprehensive post-operative care and follow-up consultations to monitor recovery.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with general dentists, orthodontists, and other dental specialists to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Participate in case reviews and treatment planning sessions.
- **Technology Utilization**:

- Stay current with the latest advancements in periodontics and integrate new technologies and techniques into practice.
- Employ digital imaging and diagnostic tools for accurate assessments and treatment planning.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in continuing education and training to remain updated on advancements in periodontics and related fields.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- **Practice Management**:

- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and patient education programs to promote periodontal health and services.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master’s Degree in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontics from an accredited institution.
- **Licensure**: Valid dental license to practice in [State/Country].
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred; completion of a periodontal residency program is required.
- **Skills**: Strong clinical and surgical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
